The Metro-Milwaukee Dynasty Baseball league was formed in April 2020 as a bunch of guys who played Strato face-to-face for 22 years looked for a way to stay connected during "work-from-home." We created this league, chose the Dynasty League game platform because of its superior online game play, and added several new friends from coast-to-coast, including Canada. Today, there remain only a few managers from the original Milwaukee Strat league, but the name will live on. And so will this league.
We have 20 teams across 2 leagues. In our inaugural year we played 2 54-game seasons. We now play a 90-game season over 30 weeks beginning in February. The top 6 teams in each league make the playoffs, and all playoff series are 7 games. We have 40-man rosters of which no more than 20-23 may be retained from year-to-year (based on player status). We do not use a salary or auction system. Our Free Agent & Rookie Draft takes place in early February (on the weekend before Super Bowl weekend), with league play beginning mid-February.
